Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. All of our storage facilities offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

What types of vehicles can I store?

Most often, people store RVs, boats and trailers, or antique/collectible automobiles. Not every vehicle will fit in every storage space! If you're not sure, contact us and we'll help you find the right spot.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What should I do before storing a vehicle?

Be sure to remove anything that might spoil or rot before you store your vehicle. Empty the fridge or bait well and turn off any electronics. Some renters prefer to clean their vehicle before storage so it's pristine and ready when they need it next.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

Can I live in my vehicle?

While we're happy to have you store your vehicle with us, we cannot allow anyone to live on the property. Living in your vehicle is against the terms of our rental agreement and can result in legal action.

What is the Rental Process?

Choose the storage unit size or parking space that best suits your needs. Create an account. Pay the first month's rent and sign up for our insurance coverage (fastest) or provide the declaration page of your homeowners policy or your renters insurance (an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to upload your insurance if you choose to use your own). Check your email inbox for a welcome/confirmation email. Keep this email in a place you can easily find because it will have all the information about how to enter the automatic gate, find your storage unit or parking place on site, and secure your items.

Why do I need Insurance Coverage and How do I get it?

Tenant insurance is a mandatory requirement to rent with us. There are two options. Option 1: You can use your own homeowners or tenant insurance. Most homeowners insurance or renters insurance policies include a special caveat for storage units. Most of the personal property you would typically store in your home is also covered when you keep it in an off-site storage unit. So, you can use your own homeowners or renters insurance, you will need to provide us with a copy of your declaration page. Option 2: You can quickly and easily sign up for the insurance coverage we offer during your rental process. Our insurance provides excellent coverage for fire, wind, hail, earthquake, burglary, autos, flood, mold and rodent coverage at a highly competitive rate and with a low deductible.

How do I access the gate?

After you have chosen your storage unit, created an account and signed up for insurance coverage, you will receive an email from spiderlink with your unique code to allow you access to the storage facility.

  1. Enter your 4-8 Digit Code
  2. Press #
  3. Wait for gate to open
  4. Gate will remain open for 2 minutes.
  5. Please Note: Follow the instructions above to exit the facility.
How do I find and enter my storage unit?

You can access the map of our storage facility here. All units are marked with a letter and a number at the top. Make sure to match your reserved unit number to the onsite number.

It’s my first time, where do I find my key or lock?

You will find your key or lock inside your unit. When you arrive at the facility, the door to your unit will be unlocked. You will find the key/lock hanging inside.

  • (Keyed): Units 1-34 and 97-126

  • (Locks): Units: 201-263 and Units 35-96

How can I get help?

This is a fully automated facility, there is no one on site to help you. If you have trouble with the gate or have any other questions or concerns, please call 717-201-7295

What is the exit process when I am finished renting?

When you are ready to exit, please complete the following steps:

  • Step 1: Send an Exit Notice Email to info@storageonthefly.com

    • Include the following information:

      • Name, Phone Number, Storage Unit/Parking Space Number and *Exit Date.

      • Tenants must give a 7 day advance notice

      • Please Note: We do NOT prorate your rent when you move out. For example, if your last billing day is the 25th and you move out on the 15th, you still pay for the entire month.

  • Step 2: Clean out all of your items (There will be a Trash Removal Fee for any items left in unit)

  • Step 3: Place your key or lock back where it was inside the unit when you first rented

  • Step 4: Take a picture of cleaned unit and returned key/lock and send it to info@storageonthefly.com 

  • Step 5: We want to hear from you! Consider leaving us a review on google, you can access our site using the QR code or clicking here.

*Please Note - There are NO trash facilities onsite,

ALL ITEMS must be removed off site by renter.

How do I pay my bill?

All of our payments are accepted online. Go to www.storageonthefly.com and click on Pay Bill. This will take you to your account where you can enter your credit card information and pay your bill. You can also pay by phone by calling 717-913-8687.

Is there trash removal on site?

There are NO facilities or dumpsters for public use on site. ALL TRASH must be removed by you from off the premises. Trash left in or around units will result in a fine.
